The room was spacious, quiet, clean and relaxing. Good view and in a great location. The lady (Margaret) that ran the front desk was very friendly and accommodating. It was like she was a step ahead of me on everything I needed. I will definitely come back here on my next trip. We arrived on a Sunday evening and in Amish Country everything is shut down on Sunday. They provided a meal for us to make our stay that much more relaxing and less stressful. After a long drive it was nice to not worry about finding a location to eat.

I loved how clean and quiet it was. It was the beginning of the off season in Amish country, but everything was still open as if it were the middle of summer. The pool and hot tub were heated and indoors but they have a beautiful sundeck and patio with lots of chairs and a couple of fire pits too. The staff was helpful and super friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel is located across the highway from the Der Dutchman restaurant and is very central. 5 miles both ways from Sugarcreek and Berlin.

This was our second stay at the Wallhouse Hotel and I will definitely go back again. Our room was great…big king bed and a zero-edge walk-in shower. What I appreciated the most were the two recliner/rockers in our room. Most hotels have a desk chair and an arm chair for seating and that’s just not comfortable, nor is sitting on the bed. It was great to be able to sit comfortably with my feet up after being on the go all day.

The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. There was almost a bed and breakfast vibe. The room we chose, which we paid extra for, had a very nice view of the countryside. Unlike 90 % of the rooms I stay in, the heating/cooling system was just right --no waking in the night too hot or too cold. Two recliners were very comfortable. The shower was big and the style was unique.

Everything there was first rate! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The woman who ran the breakfast area was great. She made everyone feel welcome and the breakfast was delicious!
